The service was amazing, featuring a convenient check-in experience. We really enjoyed the perfectly clean and airy family room with a shared bathroom, which made us feel at home. the breakfast was light and satisfying, showcasing regional products suitable for a vegetarian diet and was frequently replenished. the atmosphere felt like a family environment.

This hotel has a great location with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, plus it's just a short walk to Symposium for some delicious shots.

Just stayed at Casa Matriz for the first time and it was a great experience. The room was big, beautifully styled, and super clean. The shared bathrooms, kitchen, and lounge area were also modern and well-equipped. The location is perfect, only a minute's walk from the main square and city attractions. The staff was friendly and attentive, even contacting us by phone to ensure everything was okay. Casa Matriz is central, convenient, and highly recommended.

This hotel is definitely worth it - it's located in the heart of the city and within easy access from the airport. The rooms are basic, but clean and have everything you need, both private and shared rooms. Plus, breakfast is included and it's a great value for the money. From one of the reviews, I liked the fact that they have a neat roof window in some of the rooms that provide more light and airflow which is a big plus for me.

No negatives - everything was okay!

Located right in the heart of the city, this hotel has a prime location with Casa Rosa, a fantastic restaurant, just a short distance away. the room was well equipped with modern facilities and the breakfast was delicious, delivered fresh to our door every morning.

The automated check-in and check-out system did not provide any human interaction which would have been helpful at times.

The location of this venue is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance. the check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly. the WiFi connection was strong, and it only took 10 minutes by taxi to reach the airport. the place was well-organized and clean.

I felt totally at home during my stay and had no reason to complain.

We had a fantastic romantic escape here! The breakfast baskets were a lovely touch and provided us with everything we needed to start our day. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the city and getting to and from the airport easily. We also appreciated the shared facilities and the fact that the host even accommodated our dietary restrictions with almond and soya milk.

The noise from the surrounding area was a bit of an issue, especially during the evening, but we were still able to sleep soundly. the lack of personal interaction with the staff made the experience a bit impersonal, but this didn't take away from the great location and amenities of the hotel.

The location of Casa Da Matriz was perfect, right in the center of Ponta Delgada. The rooms and common areas were cozy and clean, with modern furniture. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus for us. Despite some noise at the weekend nights, we had a great stay.

check-in system needs improvement

The room had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the beds were cozy with warm blankets and there were clothes hangers and bedside lamps. the location was central, and it was easy to reach any place in the area by foot. there was a common kitchen available with a refrigerator and cooking supplies which was a big convenience.

the bathroom had some issues, the water from the showerhead in the men's bathroom was not very good, and it was difficult to drain water in the women's bathroom which posed a risk of slipping.

Great location. Cozy room. Comfy bed. Self check-in. Clean. Good value. Trusting staff. Good restaurants nearby.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I recently had a fabulous stay at this hotel in the center of the city. The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the action, close to the ocean and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room was equipped with everything I needed, including a great bed and my own bathroom. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I had a comfortable stay. On top of all that, the prices were very reasonable, giving great value for money. Highly recommended!
